My story

Hi, I'm Lyn

My journey in textiles is rooted in a lifelong love of making and teaching. Before I turned to fabric, dye, and ink full time, I spent years in Queensland high schools as an English teacher and Deputy Principal.

In 2005 I founded KennyKreations, designing and selling digital machine embroidery designs worldwide. From selling design CDs at the Houston International Quilt Show to teaching at the Nancy Zieman Love of Sewing Retreat in California, I have spent decades helping stitchers master flawless technique.

Today, as a contemporary textile artist, my work spans the precise world of machine embroidery and the organic world of eco-printing and solar cyanotypes.
